Our latest blue plaque will be unveiled in early March 2022 at the former St Helena Girls’ High School – now the University of Derby, on Sheffield Road. The event is by invitation only.
Our thanks to the University of Derby for allowing the plaque to be fixed to the building – which is an important example of architect George Henry Widdows’ work.
We’ll be publishing a report on the event soon.

Hello Mr Wainwright. It’s not currently possible to print out a copy of the Blue Plaques locations, etc., other than what you can print via your own PC. We also need to update the site a bit, to include the most recent one at the old St Helena school on the interactive map. Our apologies for this.
